About QoreChain

QoreChain began in late 2017 as a digital asset security and trading (DAST) platform, focused on building reliable blockchain infrastructure. In 2023–2024, the project pivoted to address two existential challenges facing blockchain technology: the quantum computing threat to current cryptography, and the fragmentation of development across incompatible ecosystems.

Today, QoreChain is a quantum-safe, AI-native Layer 1 blockchain with triple-VM execution (EVM, CosmWasm, SVM), built on the Cosmos SDK and registered as a Swiss foundation.

Foundation

QoreChain Association is registered in Rolle, Vaud, Switzerland under registration number CHE-484.963.998 (Handelsregister 550-1253735-1), domiciled at Route de Gilly 30 c/o Bonnard Lawson Rolle SA. The association was incorporated on 19 November 2025 and is governed by an 8-member council with multi-national representation including Swiss legal counsel.

The association's purpose is to promote development and adoption of innovative technologies in post-quantum cryptography, AI, and distributed ledger technology. It operates on a non-profit basis oriented toward public interest, with authorization to exercise commercial activities.

Regulatory Status

QOR has been assessed under Swiss financial market law as a utility token, providing access to smart contract execution, transaction initiation, and consensus participation on the QoreChain network. QoreChain Association operates under Swiss legal frameworks with ongoing regulatory engagement. For regulatory details, contact business@qorechain.io.

Governing Council

QoreChain Association is governed by an 8-member council chaired by Liviu-Ionut Epure (President), with vice-president and secretary Rodolphe Chatagny (Switzerland), and council members spanning the UK, France, Romania, and Switzerland. This multi-national governance structure reflects QoreChain's global mission and Swiss institutional foundation.
